Business Name: Park Easy
When I started this course my ideas were everywhere and I did not know which route to take. I narrowed all of them down to the biggest issues that I face when I am at college. I wanted to focus on a product that relates to my community because I thought it would be easier to collect data and relate to the purpose of my product. When I came up with the idea to work on fixing the parking situation at my college I asked my peers if they face the same problem. Everyone that I talked to said yes and even other individuals at other campuses. That is when I knew I had to center my product on this group of consumers. After receiving feedback from my classmates I know I am on the right track and made the right decision on making a product that would benefit students and others on college campuses. I have gotten a lot of feedback on more ideas to add to the product and other products that are similar but not exactly the same to mine.
Hey Jaylynn, I thought your post to this assignment was a little short and broad, but you did a great job of keeping it short, sweet, and to the point. I agree with your feelings and expectations of starting this course and not knowing what route to take, especially with this startup opportuity project. I think your opportunity idea is a really brilliant one and would sure help a lot of people in Gainesville. Overall, you did a solid job!

ReplyDeleteI think you did a good job on the post but could’ve included a little more information on your concept/innovation and how you plan on differentiating yourself. Based on my personal experience, I think you have a great idea, but I also wonder what the competition is like in this space. I would like to hear a little more about the ideas you got from the feedback and also about the other products that already exist and how you’re different from them. Good post though!
